How to connect, install and test the TCA Quadrant Airbus Edition on PC
1) Before connecting, make sure your TCA Quadrant Airbus Edition is associated with the corresponding engines
- The selector switch must be in position 1&2 (engines 1 and 2)
If you use two TCA Quadrant Airbus Edition :
- The first quadrant must be in position 1&2.
- It is imperative* that the second quadrant selector switch is in position 3&4 (engines 3 and 4).
*if two TCA Quadrant Airbus Edition are in the same engine position (eg: 1&2 and 1&2), your Xbox console will only detect one quadrant, the second one will not be able to work. However, the TCA Sidestick X Airbus Edition will warn you in the event of an error (read more).
2) Connect your TCA Sidestick X Airbus Edition to the USB port on your Xbox console

3) Directly connect your TCA Quadrant Airbus Edition to the USB on your TCA Sidestick X Airbus Edition
The TCA Quadrant Airbus Edition must be directly connected to a USB port on the TCA Sidestick X Airbus Edition with its USB-C / USB-A cable.
- We recommend that you avoid using a USB hub, a USB extension, or any other type of connection extension.
The white LED above the Xbox button on the TCA Sidestick X Airbus Edition will turn off and on again to confirm the detection of the TCA Quadrant Airbus Edition.
Note on USB device connections on Xbox :
The TCA Sidestick X Airbus Edition features two USB-A ports for connecting compatible devices and using them on Xbox.
Here's what to do if you're using a TCA Quadrant Airbus Edition and a second compatible USB device:
- the first TCA Quadrant Airbus Edition (in position 1&2) must be connected to a USB-A port on the TCA Sidestick X Airbus Edition.
- a second TCA Quadrant Airbus Edition (in position 3&4)* must be connected to the available USB-A port of the TCA Sidestick X Airbus Edition.
*If both TCA Quadrant Airbus Editions have the same engine position (see part 1), then the Xbox button LED on the TCA Sidestick X Airbus Edition will flash continuously. It will therefore be necessary to disconnect everything and ensure that each TCA Quadrant Airbus Edition has a different engine position (1&2 and 3&4).
- A TPR Rudder must be connected to the available USB-A port on the TCA Sidestick X Airbus Edition.
Reminder: as the TCA Sidestick X Airbus Edition only has two USB-A ports, the use of a TPR Rudder therefore allows the use of only one TCA Quadrant Airbus Edition on Xbox. A maximum of two UBS devices can be connected to the TCA Sidestick X Airbus Edition for Xbox gaming.
