How to make sure the T80 works on PC

With this article we provide you with help or solutions if your T80 does not work in a PC game. It mainly explains how to use Gamepad mode and Racing Wheel Mode, providing details on their role in PC games.

The T80 Ferrari 488 GTB Edition is automatically supported by the PC.
The T80 Racing Wheel selector must be in the PS4 position to be supported by the PC.
1- Install the T80 driver.
Install the latest T80 driver on your PC: Unified Drivers Package.
You will find this T80 driver on our technical support site, in the Drivers section:

Note:
T80 works in Plug & Play, meaning it will be recognized by your PC and by games without using a driver. However, the driver allows on the one hand to open the racing wheel control panel, on the other hand it may be necessary for certain PC games, especially with Racing Wheel Mode.
2- Check the red light and change the mode.
As soon as the T80 is directly connected to a USB port on the PC, a red light (LED), located on the wheel, lights up.
- Important: The racing wheel must be directly connected to a USB port on the PC. We recommend avoiding the use of USB HUBs, USB extension cables and any connection extensions.
This indicator informs when the T80 is powered on (so the T80 lights up) and it also indicates the mode that is active at the time the steering wheel is connected:
- Red LED flashes = Gamepad mode
- Red LED lights up without flashing = Racing Wheel Mode
Detail :
- Gamepad mode: the T80 is recognized as a standard gamepad
=> so, this mode allows access to many games that support HID devices, it is also the mode that we recommend by default to test the compatibility of the T80.
- Racing Wheel Mode: the T80 benefits from greater sensitivity more suited to racing games.
=> it can be tried on racing games
To change the mode :
- Unplug the T80 from your PC
- Press and hold the PS button, located on the T80's wheel.
- Connect the steering wheel to the PC's USB port, with the PS button pressed.
- Release the PS button.
Make sure the light matches the mode you want.

Important :
The selection of Gamepad mode or Racing Wheel Mode is saved in the T80's memory. To modify the mode, you will therefore have to proceed as indicated above.
About the T80's compatibility with PC games:
Finally, we must clarify that we cannot guarantee that the T80 will be supported by all PC games. Indeed, the compatibility of the T80 on PC games is subject to the conditions of the game publisher and the protocol allowing the game to function.
