Keeping your Thrustmaster racing wheel up to date is important!
This article guides you through updating, testing, and adjusting your Thrustmaster racing wheel using the appropriate applications depending on your racing wheel base:
- My Thrustmaster Panel for Direct Drive racing wheels (T818, T598) and the T248R
- The Control Panel and Firmware Update application for Force Feedback racing wheels (T128, T150, TMX, T248, T300, TX, T-GT/T-GT II, TS‑XW, TS‑PC)

The My Thrustmaster Panel application was developed for Thrustmaster’s latest racing wheel ranges:
- Direct Drive racing wheels: T818, T598
- New-generation FFB racing wheels: T248R

1.2. Updating wheel add-ons used with the T818, T598
The latest generation of Thrustmaster wheel add-ons can be updated using My Thrustmaster Panel. These updates require that My Thrustmaster Panel be installed for a T818 or T598 base.
Compatible add-ons:
- Hypercar Wheel Add-On
- EVO RACING HUB (EVO Racing 32R Leather)
- Ferrari 488 GT3 Wheel Add-On
Important:
These updates are only possible if you play with a Direct Drive racing wheel base (T818, T598). Do not perform them if you play with an FFB racing wheel base.

1.3. Testing and adjusting your racing wheel
In My Thrustmaster Panel:
- Click “TESTING” to access test features.
- Click “SETTINGS” to access adjustment features.
2. Force Feedback racing wheels (T128, T150, TMX, T248, T300, TX, T‑GT/T‑GT II, TS‑XW, TS‑PC)
This section explains how to update and test Force Feedback (FFB) wheels from the following ranges:
- FFB racing wheels with removable rims: T300, TX, T‑GT/T‑GT II, TS‑XW, TS‑PC
- FFB racing wheels with non-removable rims: T128, T150, TMX, T248 [excluding T248R]
For these racing wheels, we recommend installing their specific driver and applications only. My Thrustmaster Panel does not support them.
2.1. Updating and waking up (Bootloader method) FFB racing wheel bases (T128, T150, TMX, T248, T300, TX, T-GT/T-GT II, TS-XW, TS-PC)
These racing wheels use the PC – DRIVERS FORCE FEEDBACK [TTRS] driver, and their updates must be performed through the Firmware Update application.

2.2. Updating wheel add-ons used with an FFB racing wheel base
For the Formula Wheel Add-On Ferrari SF1000 Edition, follow these articles:

Important:
The EVO RACING HUB (EVO Racing 32R Leather) and the Ferrari 488 GT3 Wheel Add-On do not require an update to work with an FFB racing wheel base (T300, TX, T‑GT/T‑GT II, TS‑XW, TS‑PC).
2.3. Testing and adjusting your FFB racing wheel (T128, T150, TMX, T248, T300, TX, T-GT/T-GT II, TS-XW, TS-PC)
The Control Panel provides three menus: Test Device, Test Forces, and Settings.
You can run tests and adjust various functions of your wheel and peripherals. These adjustments apply only when playing on PC.
3. Common questions about My Thrustmaster Panel
3.1. Can I use My Thrustmaster Panel with an FFB racing wheel?
No. My Thrustmaster Panel does not support FFB racing wheel bases (T128, T150, TMX, T248, T300, TX, T‑GT/T‑GT II, TS‑XW, TS‑PC). Please refer to section 2 of this article.
My Thrustmaster Panel is intended for updating, testing, and adjusting Direct Drive racing wheel bases (T818, T598), their compatible wheel add-ons, and the T248R.
3.2. I installed My Thrustmaster Panel for my FFB racing wheel. What should I do?
If you use only an FFB racing wheel base (T128, T150, TMX, T248, T300, TX, T‑GT/T‑GT II, TS‑XW, TS‑PC), we recommend uninstalling the application from your PC.
3.3. Can I update my wheel add-on using My Thrustmaster Panel and use it on an FFB base?
We recommend avoiding the use of My Thrustmaster Panel to update a wheel add-on used with an FFB base (see section 2 for the correct procedures).
Updating a wheel add-on through My Thrustmaster Panel applies modifications specific to Thrustmaster Direct Drive racing wheel bases.
The only wheel add-on that receives useful updates for both ranges of racing wheel bases is the Ferrari SF1000: if you play with a Direct Drive base, the update procedure is linked in section 1; if you have an FFB base, the update procedure is linked in section 2.
Important:
Updating a wheel add-on through My Thrustmaster Panel may affect its use on an FFB base (unrecognized add-on, irreversible update, etc.).
3.4. I have a racing wheel compatible with My Thrustmaster Panel (T818, T598, T248R) and an FFB racing wheel. What should I do?
For a racing wheel from the T818, T598, or T248R ranges, install and use My Thrustmaster Panel on your PC.
You can continue playing with your FFB racing wheel (T128, T150, TMX, T248, T300, TX, T‑GT/T‑GT II, TS‑XW, TS‑PC). You can also continue using the Control Panel for testing purposes.
However: Do not open My Thrustmaster Panel for your FFB racing wheel.
If you need to update or use the Bootloader on your FFB racing wheel, we strongly recommend connecting it to another PC where My Thrustmaster Panel is not installed.
3.5. Do I need a driver?
My Thrustmaster Panel includes a driver when downloaded. When you connect a racing wheel compatible with the app (T818, T598, T248R), the NextRW driver automatically installs on your PC.
If you use only an FFB racing wheel base (T128, T150, TMX, T248 [excluding T248R], T300, TX, T‑GT/T‑GT II, TS‑XW, TS‑PC), you must install the PC - DRIVERS FORCE FEEDBACK [TTRS] driver (links in section 2). Do not install My Thrustmaster Panel.
If you have both a racing wheel compatible with My Thrustmaster Panel (T818, T598, T248R) and an FFB racing wheel:
- The NextRW driver will replace the PC - DRIVERS FORCE FEEDBACK [TTRS] during installation.
- You will not need to install any additional driver afterward.
Note:
The PC - DRIVERS FORCE FEEDBACK [TTRS] driver is incompatible with My Thrustmaster Panel.
