Two pedal sets: T2PA ; T2PM
Scalable pedal set: Raceline Pedals LTE
The racing wheel base has two automated pedal set type detection modes: a normal mode (T3PA, T2PA, T3PM, T2PM and Raceline Pedals LTE) and a mode for the T-LCM Pedals. The T-LCM Pedals has a separate detection mode because it uses a Load Cell sensor in its brake pedal.
- If a pedal set without Load Cell (T3PA, T2PA, T3PM, T2PM and Raceline Pedals LTE) is used with T-LCM mode: the pedals will not reach 100% of their signal, generally between 40% and 80%.
The detection mode can be changed manually:
1- FFB Racing wheels (TMX ; T150 ; T300 ; TX, T-GT ; T-GT II ; TS-XW ; TS-PC)
2- T128
3- T248
4- Direct Axial Drive : T598
5- Direct Drive: T818
1- Force feedback racing wheel bases: TMX ; T150 ; T300 ; TX, T-GT ; T-GT II ; TS-XW ; TS-PC
Connect your racing wheel base and let it do its startup calibration. The MODE button LED should flash:
- 1 or 2 times: normal mode (T3PA, T2PA, T3PM, T2PM and Raceline Pedals LTE)
- 10 times: T-LCM Pedals mode
To change the mode, simultaneously press and hold the MODE button and the left paddle shifter (downshift) for 2 seconds then release.
This process is detailed in our document: IMPORTANT NOTE: Type of pedal set detected when it is connected to a Thrustmaster® racing wheel base via the RJ12 cable
2- T128
The LEDs use a 4-color code.
Simultaneously press and hold the Settings button and the left paddle shifter (downshift) for 5 seconds:
- For a T2PM, T3PM, T3PA or Raceline Pedals LTE: the red LED lights up (default mode).
- For a T-LCM: the blue LED lights up (T-LCM mode).
This process is detailed in the user manual:
- Page 19: T128 (PS4/PS5/PC)
- Page 17: T128 (Xbox One/Xbox Series/PC)
3- Note about T248
T248 automatically detects the pedal set you connect, it does not have a manual pedal set type mode. If you change the pedal set, just remember to restart your racing wheel or even unplug and reconnect the power.
4- Direct Axial Drive: T598
Navigate the menu and find the pedals mode. Then select the mode that corresponds to your pedal set:
- TLRP: for Raceline Pedals LTE
- T3PA: for T3PA, T3PM, T2PA, T2PM
- T-LCM: for T-LCM Pedals
This process is detailed in the user manual on page 111
5- Direct Drive: T818
Connect your racing wheel base and let it do its startup calibration. The button 13 LED (in the middle of the menu panel on the side of the base) should flash:
- 1 or 2 times: normal mode (T3PA, T2PA, T3PM,T2PM and Raceline Pedals LTE)
- 10 times: T-LCM Pedals mode
To change the mode, simultaneously press and hold the button 13 and the left paddle shifter (downshift) for 2 seconds then release.
This process is detailed in the user manual on pages 64 and 65.
