This article shows how to record your T98 axes and buttons in the F1® 23 (PC version).and F1® 24 (PC version) games.
This mapping method also serves as an example for the series of F1® (Formula 1) games, from F1® 2015 to F1® 24, in their PC versions.
For F1® 25: the T98 is natively compatible with the F1® 25 (PC version) game. The T98's buttons and axes are active for gameplay, and you will find the steering wheel in the game's controllers under the name T80.
Important:
- Make sure that the LED on the steering wheel lights up green

1- Steps to map the T98 in F1® 23 (PC version) and F1® 24 (PC version)
Connect your T98 to the PC and then launch the game. You must use the keyboard to navigate in the game.
When using your T98 in F1® 23 or F1® 24 for the first time, once past the home page, you get a message that T98 is detected but needs to be mapped.
- Click Okay
You go directly to SETTINGS
In CONTROL SCHEME:
- All buttons and axes are marked as Unassigned.
- Select the line of an axis or button:
- Press ENTER: a waiting message appears
- Physically activate the corresponding T98 axis or button: a symbol appears to confirm the mapping
Following this procedure, you must assign all buttons and axes:
- Accelerate = press the accelerator pedal
- Brake/Reverse = press the brake pedal
- Steer left = turn the steering wheel to the left stop
- Steer right = turn the steering wheel to the right stop
- etc.

Note on rotation angle:
The F1® 24 game offers a default rotation angle of 400°. However, for the T98, we strongly recommend setting the rotation angle to 240°.
Once mapping is complete, press ESC (Escape) on your keyboard to save. A confirmation menu will open:
- Save as a new file, press ENTER
- Give your mapping file a name. Example: T98
- Press ENTER to confirm
If necessary, you can find your file in OPTIONS / SETTINGS / CONTROLS
