“RACING WHEEL MODE” AND “GAMEPAD MODE” FOR PLAYSTATION®4 TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS (1) “PS4” / “PS3” sliding switch (2) USB connector (3) “PS” button (4) UP and DOWN paddle shifter (5) D-pad (6) LED In games for PlayStation®4 that are compatible with the “Racing Wheel Mode” (e.g. DRIVECLUB™ for PS4, THE CREW™ for PS4, PROJECT CARS™ for PS4, and many other upcoming titles), the T80 Racing Wheel is recognized by default as a genuine racing wheel, as opposed to as a gamepad. This ensures maximum responsiveness and precision, while providing access to the racing wheel options available within these games. In “Racing Wheel Mode”, the T80 Racing Wheel's LED (3) doesn't flash. In games for PlayStation®4 that are not compatible with the “Racing Wheel Mode” (e.g. NEED FOR SPEED™ RIVALS for PS4, for instance), it is however possible to switch the T80 Racing Wheel to “Gamepad Mode”. In “Gamepad Mode”, the T80 Racing Wheel's LED (3) flashes continuously. Important notes: - The selected mode (“Racing Wheel Mode” or “Gamepad Mode”) is automatically saved to the device's internal memory, even if the console is switched off or the racing wheel is disconnected from the console. You therefore do not need to change it every time you launch your game. - In “Gamepad Mode”, the racing wheel's sensitivity and responsiveness are significantly lower than in “Racing Wheel Mode”. To ensure better playability in this mode, we therefore recommend that you increase the T80 Racing Wheel's sensitivity (for more information on this subject, please refer to the section below, “Adjusting the racing wheel's sensitivity in “Gamepad Mode”).
